The IP STB VOD is powered by a very powerful video centric SoC. It is configured to decode full D1 resolution, WM9 Main
Profile, at Medium Level, video and audio streams up to 6Mbps. It is one of the first embedded devices to pass the conformance tests and be
approved by Microsoft for main profile video thus enabling display of the Windows Media Compatible logo. The SoC is also configured to implement
Microsoft’s optional WM9 post-processing technology to render excellent TV video quality even at bit rate streams as low as 300Kbps. Video-on-Demand
(VOD) TV services to consumer homes over xDSL, 10/100 Ethernet, FTTC or other broadband distribution networks.
